Information regarding the Covid 19 / Corona Virus outbreak, our statement.

Harvey & Ryall are operating with a closed-door policy. Any meetings/ Office time with clients have been postponed however we are operating via team viewer to still complete and action work where required to avoid minimal disruption to yourselves. We don’t know if the Government will force a shutdown of businesses to help stop the spread of the virus but it may happen along with home working. If it does, we will keep you informed immediately and we have the technology to carry on providing a full service. As close as normal service as possible will be operated where possible.

In order to protect the welfare of our staff, customers and tenants we are implementing several changes to our working practice on a day to day basis.

Property inspections (inc. any call-outs for testing, maintenance access by staff) have been postponed until April/May under the guidelines and we will update where required. Any maintenance will be reported by tenants as normal via email/telephone and reported to yourselves accordingly. Depending on availability of maintenance contractors, we may have to prioritise emergency maintenance from time to time.

Moving forward we will be asking staff to ask a series of questions about your recent travel movements (tenants, contractors, meetings with clients) and well-being of your family. Please accept our apologies if you feel this is an intrusion, this is actioned in the best interest of all parties and allow us to make decisions on how best to proceed.

We are continuing viewings, but we do ask all parties to remain at least 2m apart during any meeting, hand sanitise will be provided for all parties as well as staff to wear anti-bacterial gloves (please do not be alarmed by this) this is based on the Governments advise.

The above is for you and your family’s protection and we would ask you to be understanding during this period. If you or a member of your household become ill or ordered to self-isolate please advise the office immediately, to stop viewings and visits to the property. Our best interest is to work with you to manage the situation for the protection of everyone.

These are difficult times for all, however if we can work through this and stick together, we will get through it. We will continue to support all our clients as best as we can and wish good health to you and your loved ones. Any questions please do not hesitate to get in touch.
